Community

This vibrant Conservative congregation with more than three hundred households offers scores of activities for adults and children. Our membership embraces people from many religious and personal backgrounds – liberal, conservative, straight, gay, single and married. That makes us typical of American Jewry. However, we create from that diversity an impassioned, soulful community, and that makes us cutting edge. Through prayer, study, song and social action, we have created an informed and open place for Judaism to thrive.

The Kane Street community includes many devoted lay leaders and teachers who enrich the Kane Street experience, throughout the year, year after year. Men and women participate equally in all aspects of the synagogue–in prayer, in study and in acts of kindness. Come join us. Grow with us.
