Share the Light: Havdalah and Chanukah Candle Lighting

As the days get shorter, help us to share the light and keep connected. We’re encouraging Kane Street community members to sign up to host and lead Havdalah and Chanukah Candle Lightings on Zoom this year.

Participants will be able to join via Zoom at kanestreet.org/havdalah or kanestreet.org/chanukah

The times for Havdalah are posted on the host sign up page and on our website’s homepage each week. Chanukah Candle Lighting will be at 6:00pm each night of the holiday. You can order candles locally too.

This is an opportunity to both share the light of these moments as well as your own unique home practices for these rituals with others.  Clergy are also here to support leaders/hosts. Cantor Sarah has prepared recordings for Havdalah (below) and we’re happy to answer any questions you may have beforehand.

You can watch, listen, and learn how to lead the Havdalah blessings with Cantor Sarah Myerson on our Havdalah Interactive.
