6 | Sign up here to contribute to Kane Street's Tu Bishvat Potluck seder! We are looking for three categories of fruit, and four categories of kosher wine or grape juice (must have a hechsher, i.e. a kosher stamp). There is a wine and a fruit for each of the four courses. Fruit: 1. Fruit that is entirely edible (eg fig, strawberry, blueberry), 2. Fruit that is edible on the outside, inedible on the inside (eg peach, plum, date, apple, pear, cherry), 3. Fruit that is edible on the inside, inedible on the outside (eg banana, kiwi, coconut). Kosher Wine: 1. White wine 2. Rosé wine 3. Light red wine (eg Schiava through Mencia, see here for ideas) 4. Dark red wine (eg Sangiovese through Tannat, see here for ideas) | ||
