Health & Safety Protocols
for all Indoor Services, Events, and Programs

Protocols updated September 11, 2023

All of our services—including for the High Holy Days—are mask-optional, and we will continue to make masks available. In the Sanctuary, however, there will still be a mask-only section on the Tompkins Place side, limited to the front set of pews, where masks are mandatory. If you have symptoms or find that you’ve been exposed, we encourage you to watch our Saturday morning and High Holy Day services from home. They will continue to be live streamed at the links below.

We thank the COVID-19 Advisory Committee for the many hours of discussions and research that they have put in since the beginning of the pandemic to ensure the safety of our community. In particular, we thank Dr. Jeff Birnbaum and Dr. Ed Telzak—both long-time members of our Congregation—for their dedication. They have brought deep knowledge and years of experience in infectious diseases and epidemiology, and given considerable amounts of their time in reviewing and assimilating research on the very new medical and scientific literature about COVID-19, to inform our decisions since March 2020. Todah Rabah!
