Thanksgiving relates to profound Jewish values that we return to throughout the year, every time we show gratitude for the gifts around us. This Giving Tuesday, we are thankful for your contribution to Kane Street's Torah Repair Fund, named in honor of Bob Rabin—late father of member Sheila Rabin, and beloved gabbai and teacher at Kanestreet for many years.

• Having our scrolls scanned to identify areas that need to be repaired
• Hiring a sofer (scribe) to rewrite sections that are damaged or that need correction
• Repairing parchment edges and seams 
• Upgrading our aron kodesh (ark) to provide a more hospitable environment for our scrolls for the next hundred years
