DIY Dreidel Contest
Submit by Dec 15; Live Voting after Zoom Candle Lighting on Dec 17
Build a working dreidel (it has to spin) and make a 1 minute video (max) of the dreidel spinning on a table or floor. Submit your entry to [email protected] by December 15. Join us on Zoom Thursday, December 17 at 6:00 pm, as we light the eighth and final candle of the holiday, followed by a live vote for best dreidel of the competition.

Hanukkah across Brooklyn
Sunday, December 13
We’re joining with UJA-Federation of New York and encouraging community members to bring the Hanukkah spirit to our neighborhoods by decorating your windows, walkways, or doorways with symbols of light. Light your menorah in the window or add creative Hanukkah-themed decorations to your stoop in front of your building.

Then, on Sunday evening, December 13, (the fourth night of Hanukkah,) head outdoors and take a spin around your neighborhood to see how friends and neighbors are sharing are sharing symbols of light. And remember to tag any photos you take so we can all share in the celebration! #HanukkahAcrossBrooklyn
